How do you become one of the top providers of kitchen cabinets in the Eastern United States in only a few short years? You listen to your customers!
Door Components, LLC, headquartered in Haleyville Alabama, started as a components company in 1998 and quickly established themselves as a strong, service based organization supplying quality kitchen components. The company grew quickly, adding additional styles and colors but realized in late 2002 that the market was rapidly changing.
Rather than try and guess on what to do the management team at Door Components spent months talking to their potential customer base, asking questions, obtaining feedback, and determining requirements. By listening to their future customers (stocking distributors, direct kitchen/Bath dealers, remodelers, etc) Door Components now sets the industry standard for excellence by offering a complete package in kitchen and bath cabinetry including;
Three week delivery from the time of the order
A wide array of styles, colors, and finishes to choose from
The ability to add customization
Quality workmanship
We provide a custom look, with the widest selection of styles, finishes, storage solutions and decorative enhancements in built-to-order cabinetry all without the custom price or lengthy custom lead times.
Our Process
Door Components has a high understanding of the process. They continue to invest heavily in capital machinery and facilities, allowing them to meet their three week delivery schedule while maintaining high quality materials and workmanship.
Quality Wood
Everything starts with the wood, and Door Components uses nothing but the highest quality. Each load of wood is verified for quality at the door, ensuring that only top-notch product enters our warehouse. Whether it is their Appalachian grade oak, northern hard rock maple, or north-central cherry customers know they will receive a product of the highest quality.
Cut and Sorted
Door Components has invested heavily in the capital machinery required to quickly and precisely dimension and cut the components required for assembly. Once they are cut to precision our team sorts the pieces by grade and warehouses them on site in our ever expanding warehouses.
Collected and Coated
When our team receives an order we immediately define the mode of transportation it will take and pull the required pieces and components from our warehouse. Grouped together the wood is then coated with the respective stain, paint, glaze, or rub through antique using only the highest quality Sherwin Williams products. Our coating processes ensure an exceptional finish, continuing our high quality standard.
Assembly
A key to the Door Components system is our assembly process.
Our components are machined and dimensioned to spec which assures a tight, snug fit when your cabinets are assembled.
Our investment in quality training assures each employee has a high understanding of the process.
Together, our team follows our QC process from start to finish ensuring each batch of quality components is properly assembled.
Quality Controlled and Packaged
The team at Door Components takes enormous pride in our product and stands behind our product 100%.
Our final step in the manufacturing process is to test and monitor each and every piece in each order.
We verify paint/stain quality, test each drawer, and re-check the order from top to bottom.
Once verified the order is packaged and grouped for delivery.
When you order from Door Components you can be rest assured you will receive our high-quality product on time and in-spec each time.
